The Package description:

A military sergeant stationed in Germany has the task of bringing the non-commissioned officer to the United States on martial law. But when they arrive, the sergeant is attacked and the man he is responsible for escapes. Then he asks his ex-wife, who is an intelligence officer, to help him find him. He goes to the man's wife and discovers that the man he accompanied is not her husband. So he asks his ex to help him find out who the man really is. The sergeant is later confined to the base. Later, when one of his ex-men was killed and feared to be in danger, the sergeant escapes and saves her just as some people are trying to kill her. The sergeant and his ex find out something is going to happen in Chicago, so they go there and the sergeant asks a cop to help him. It turns out that disarmament talks are taking place in Chicago.... rom The Package you can definitely expect a cinema at an above average level. I can easily recommend. It has a beautiful storyline. Andrew Davis should more emphasize the psychological image of the characters, and the film would surely gain from it. The Package starts very innocently. Also did you know that The Package appeared on the screenings in 1989 and immediately became hit?. And, as it turned out, The Package passed the test of time as a winner.
