Everyone have heard about the famous 7 Days. I can easily recommend. It has a beautiful storyline. It is not told dynamically, only calmly, with a sense and a certain dose of poetry. The world of the film reminds us very much and we can identify with each other. From all the movies I watched last time, 7 Days surprised me the most. The actors of 7 Days doesn't try to become stars of the evening, but they consistently play their roles. I must admit that thanks to a skilful and insightful approach to the subject, while not falling into exaggerated pathos, a considerable revolution was made in the entertainment cinema.... Show more

Bruno Hamel is a 38 year old surgeon. He lives in Drummondville with his wife Sylvie and their eight-year-old daughter Jasmine. Like many happy people, he leads a peaceful life until a beautiful autumn afternoon, when his daughter is raped and murdered. Since then the world of the Hamel family has been falling apart. When the killer is arrested, a terrible project arises in Bruno's dark mind. He plans to catch the "monster" and force him to pay for his crime. On the day the killer appears in court, Hamel, who has prepared his plan in detail, kidnaps the monster and sends a short message to the police that his daughter's rapist and killer are tortured for 7 days and then executed.
