Fred M. Wilcox is one of those directors who are known for their recognizable style. It is worth returning to the movie, there is a chance that every time we discover something new. Pictures and scenography in Lassie Come Home (1943) are great. Action, comedy, adventure, riddle to solve - sometimes too much, it's unhealthy. In this case, the ingredients are perfectly balanced. Lassie Come Home (1943) turned out to be even much better than I really wanted. The whole plot of Lassie Come Home (1943) can be interpreted in many ways, but I think the movie is even too short....
