Cafard description:

1914. While Jean Mordant is winning the title of Wrestling Champion of the World, back home in Ostend his daughter Mimi is raped by German soldiers. Jean swears to avenge her and enrolls in the prestigious ACM, the first ever armored car division. Little does he know he is embarking on a dramatic odyssey which will drag him around the world.

Every year, at least a dozen of Animation movies are created, most of them are usually ordinary. It is worth returning to the movie, there is a chance that every time we discover something new. The film encourages reflection and, although it is not an outstanding work, it is certainly worth getting acquainted with it. I think it's a film properly directed by Jan Bultheel, which makes us confront our inner, hypocritical self, which makes it last longer. The actors do not try to become stars of the evening, but they consistently play their roles. The movie is really worth watching.... Show more
