Created in The Woman in Black, The Woman in Black became an unexpected hit. I can recommend The Woman in Black with a clear conscience to anyone. Pictures and scenography in The Woman in Black are great. Efficient balancing between different, preferably extreme, moods seems to me one of the greatest pieces in screenwriting. The actors do not try to become stars of the evening, but they consistently play their roles. The whole plot of The Woman in Black can be interpreted in many ways, but I think the movie is even too short.... Show more

When a lonely old widow dies in the seaside town Crythin is sent by his company a young lawyer to fix the estate. Lawyer finds residents are reluctant about, or talk neck women's dark house, and no one will explain or even acknowledge the menacing woman in black see holds.
