Every year, at least a dozen of Crime tv series are created, most of them are usually ordinary. The ending is like a Hitchcock hit, the final turn of the action that amazes and depresses. Southern Gothic - Season 1 also looks nice from the soundtrack side. Efficient balancing between different, preferably extreme, moods seems to me one of the greatest pieces in screenwriting. Seemingly trivial matters turn out to be of great importance and the atmosphere. And, as it turned out, Southern Gothic - Season 1 passed the test of time as a winner.... Show more
