During the Thanksgiving weekend in 1973, the bonnets were isolated from each other in relation to out of control relationships; Benjamin goes from drink to drink, his wife Elena loses patience with Ben's constant lies. The vacation home, her son Paul, goes to Manhattan in search of a rich girl from preparatory school. A teenage daughter, Wendy, travels the area, examines her friends 'parents' alcohol and underwear, and looks for something - nothing new.
