People interested in movies probably already heard about The Hiding Place. The ending is like a Hitchcock hit, the final turn of the action that amazes and depresses. The fact is that The Hiding Place is very good. Great storyline with good action and acting. The movie starts in a very unusual way. Seemingly trivial matters turn out to be of great importance and the atmosphere. For 3/4 of the movie, I had an unpleasant hug in my stomach. The Hiding Place description:
Corrie and Betsie ten Boom are middle-aged sisters who worked in their father's watch shop in the Netherlands before World War II. Your peaceful life is disrupted by the arrival of the Nazis. They are suspected of hiding Jews and violating rationing rules. They are sent to a concentration camp, where their Christian faith protects them from despair and bitterness. Betsie eventually dies, but Corrie survives and after the war he has to learn to love and forgive former kidnappers.
