Let your fantasies became truth. The actors are also really convincing in their roles. The film encourages reflection and, although it is not an outstanding work, it is certainly worth getting acquainted with it. This is a movie which you have to watch online!. Seemingly trivial matters turn out to be of great importance and the atmosphere. The whole plot of Old Acquaintance can be interpreted in many ways, but I think the movie is even too short.
Old Acquaintance description:
Millie is jealous of Kit's best friend, a recognized critic but financially unsuccessful writer and playwright. He writes a novel, the first in a series of best-selling trash novels. After eight years of neglect and return to fame, Millie, her husband Preston, leaves her. Another decade has passed and Kit announces his intention to marry Rudd, a younger decade. Millie thinks Preston is trying to reconcile, but discovers that he's engaged. He also admits that he was in love with Kit, who rejected many of his advances. Millie feels guilty for the failure of his marriage, goes crazy and confronts Kit. Later, when Kit found out about Rudd's feelings for Millie's daughter Diedre, he graciously stepped aside to bless their relationship.
