Whilst working as a CCTV operator in Glasgow's working-class Red Road estate, Jackie sees a face from the past, a face that she thought would no longer haunt her dreams. Keeping her distance, and with the use of her CCTV cameras, she follows the face and the man and she finally decides to confront him. It is here that past lives are once again entwined and reconciliations are aired.

Created in Red Road, Red Road became an unexpected hit. I can recommend Red Road with a clear conscience to anyone. In addition, we also have a good music. From all the movies I watched last time, Red Road surprised me the most. Acting is very real - I believed what I see on the screen. The whole plot of Red Road can be interpreted in many ways, but I think the movie is even too short.
